About the Blackeye Rugby Fund

Fully committed to supporting the long-term future of the game, the 3 founders set up the Blackeye Rugby Fund to sit firmly at the core of this award-winning gin. Contributing from the sale of every bottle the brand supports 3 key areas of focus - Risk, Recovery and Research. Through this work, The Blackeye Rugby Fund helps players and coaches past and present from all levels of the rugby community.

Backed by fans around the world; an expert advisory team and some of the global game’s biggest stars, the ambitions for the fund are as bold as the bottle. They aim to be a leading donor to rugby related causes – raising money to make a real difference.

There’s all to play for, rugby won’t be taking a backward step – not on our watch.

About the Legends

Before GBR, Alex Payne fronted Sky’s rugby union coverage from 2012. He has presented over 20,000 hours of live television, over 200 test matches, six Lions tours and more than 70 England internationals.

As a player, James Haskell played in England, France, New Zealand and Japan and won Premiership, European and Grand Slam titles.  He was man of the series as England won in Australia in 2016, and a Lions tourist to New Zealand in 2017.  Away from the pitch, he is author of bestselling books What a Flanker and Ruck Me and a DJ.

Mike Tindall was a key part of the England team that lifted the Rugby World Cup in 2003.  He went on to captain his club and country, and finished as one of the finest players to have worn the white shirt in the professional era.  In retirement, he has raised significant funds for Cure Parkinson, a cause close to his heart.
